Experience Malta’s history through the deep blue sea. From megalithic temples to magnificent caves and the island’s fishing village, this private tour will leave you wanting more and more of this tiny island in the Mediterranean Sea.
Experience the following locations in the Prehistoric Blues Tour:
Blue Grotto – Located near Zurrieq, in the southwest of Malta, Blue Grotto is famous for its rocky coastline and the natural sea caves are very appealing. This is a popular destination with tourists and some of the activities include scuba diving, snorkelling and rock climbing.
Marsaxlokk – Marsaxlokk is the foremost Maltese fishing village, and perhaps, the most picturesque seaside locality in the country. The village is mostly known for the Marsaxlokk market that happens on Sundays and the tourist markets that happen all days during the week.
Hagar Qim & Mnadjra Temples – Hagar Qim has the largest and heaviest megaliths out of all the temple sites around the Maltese Islands. Some slabs weigh a staggering 20 tonne. The Mnajdra Temples lie ticked in the cliffs, overlooking the tiny isle of Filfla.
